Testing and proportion of positive tests
Are the numbers just going up because we are testing more? This question preoccupied the Corona-sensitized public, especially in the summer. One answer may lie in the positive rate of testing. While this was around five percent in the summer, it ended up as high as 25 percent in the fall. If rising new infection numbers were due only to increased testing, the percentage of positive tests should not change.
